EARLY ACCESS REVIEW
In my first review for this game I asked the question if this will go down as one of the best VR games in history. I said that it probably wouldn't. I was wrong. I believe that Beat Saber will go down as the best VR title pre-Half Life Alyx, and it will probably still be in the top VR games for a while after. The support for this game has been phenomenal. My biggest problem with this game at launch was there was not enough content, but they've added 2 original song pack since, and multiple other songs to the base game for free. They've also released some song packs, but I've heard they are a bit overpriced. But have no fear, the modding community has your back. So if there is a song you want to play, there is probably a beat map for it. And if not, you can make your own!

I only have 2 problems with this game. My first problem with Beat Saber, and the most major to me, is that Beat Games was bought up by Facebook, and we all know how amazing that company is with any bit of data it can get its hands on. While I've heard good things about working there, I am not pleased that I now own a product by Facebook. The other problem regards the game-play. Sometimes, and I don't know if it is a fault with the game or my PC, I will see my blade go though a block correctly, but it doesn't count it. And this is not a one off thing, this will continue to happen randomly until I reboot the game. It honestly can ruin the fun of playing and can become frustrating in slow parts when you know that you hit the block correctly. Again, idk if it is the game, my PC, or if I'm standing to close to the edge or something.

Besides those two things, this is really the only game I will turn on my Vive for. Not just because it is fun and addictive, but because it can really be a good work out. If you have a headset, are not turned off by the Facebook ownership, and still don't have this game, what are you doing? There is nothing I can recommend more to a VR owner than this game.
