♥♥♥♥ April Fool's Day, it's the worst day of the year... YouTube is almost the only thing I have for enjoyment but on April Fool's Day there is literally nothing to see on YouTube cause everything is ♥♥♥♥ content!

Still reading? You little rebel, you! Anyway, here's the thing: I really enjoyed "Doki Doki Literature Club!" and I mean I REALLY enjoyed it. So much so that I even hand wrote all the poems in a little note block with my terrible handwriting. There is a lot of reasons I love this game and honestly, I don't think I even know all of them myself. This is why I wont go into full detail as to why I love it so much. However, I will say that one of the reasons are because of the poems in the game. I usually don't really care for poems but they were really interesting in this game. This is why I'm writing this. I want to make a poem of my own. Keep in mind that I am by no means a writer and it's probably going to be terrible but I'll do my best. Please note that if you haven't played or seen the game yet, go blind. DO NOT spoil yourself! Part of why this game is so great is because of the twists in the game, so please be cautious. Anyway, enough rambling! Here's the "poem" (Also, if you really want to know, my favourite character is Sayori ):

Stuck in Freezing Ice

Stuck under ice, cynical. Infinitely degrading efforts.
Drowning.
The calming feeling right before a dream of sorts.
Freezing.
Everything in a daze. Unable to physically comprehend, my mind aborts.
Dreaming, a nightmare.

It's already too late. I'm too deep.
Like climbing a cliff that's way too steep.
Not enough strength to power through the ice.
Then it came. It came to my surprise.

When everything seemed to be in vain.
Almost unable to feel the pain.
The same people were there to fix my brain.
Everything turns back to normal and I feel no strain.
Yet, I still have to restrain.
...Or else everyone elses time and comfort goes down the drain.

Let's just hide behind our white lie.
It's not like I'm about to die.
The last thing we want is for them to worry.
To care. To gift away their precious empathy.

Yet, I still am unable to escape the sirens voice.
Telling me to play with all her dangerous toys.
Secret emotions are usually hidden in plain sight.
Is this what it feels to be in constant fright?

I find myself sinking into the icy lake, once again.
