It is actually absurd how dog this game still is - Games from the 90's have better Client -> Server -> Client interactions than this abortion, and it impacts every aspect of the game from movement to gun-play. Its so bad that it has literally changed the way you should take fights and what is considered "good mechanics". The Devs actually have no clue how to fix it and their addition of "client side prediction" settings is them essentially admitting to that fact. The game is so horribly optimized that you need a literal NASA computer to get it to run okay - basic issues like random 50% performance loss in Deathmatch is normal. I could rant for hours about the problems that exist in this game, a year into its release no less, but it wouldn't matter cause Valve's whole MO is "eventually they'll stop complaining and just accept it" and "as long as the skin market is still printing money, who cares". Most people I know don't even play it anymore and I couldn't even tell you the last time I WANTED to play it. Actually so disappointing. P.S. Whichever brain-dead Dev thought adding spotlights to maps to give shadow advantages in key positions deserves to be taken out to pasture.
