I really want to like this game, but I feel like it falls a little bit short on some aspects.

It's randomly generated, but it feels a lot more limited when compared to other games.

Most items do not change the experience at all but just give plain stats. Only the rarer items that are available near the end of a run have some kind of strong effect like freezing enemies when your HP is below 25% health or damaging both enemies in front of you whenever you attack, but even that feels quite lackluster.

The combination of a relatively heavy RNG system (curse system, item slot system which only lets you have one per designated slot - basically meaning you can't have two masks or weapons, you have to choose one) and the feeling that items are just a random dice roll of stats and not even something visual or interactable just kinda makes it feel like you've understood the game within a couple of hours of playing.

The style is incredibly cool, however it feels surface level as 99% of the dialogue is two lines of cryptic haiku BS.

If you love games like Slay The Spire you'll probably like this too. It's a very cool game in its core.

Uh, do you remember the minigames in 3d platformers where you'd have to go through portals or race someone?
This is basically the premise, but there are no camera controls. you select a direction, and you can choose to click the *go fast* button. Remastered version kinda makes me wanna puke because the courses are circular and there are sudden and sharp camera movements, the original version is less problematic.

I don't really understand the appeal of this game, I guess most people are nostalgic about it?

This is a good game, but it's another game with the problem of finding other players...
Most of the play time I have in this game is queuing. You can stay in ranked queue for over an hour until you find another player. Then you either play loads of games with the rematch function with that same player, or they leave and you re-enter queue. What good is buying a good game if there is no one to play with?
Tried asking in discord communties for players and sparring partners but no luck.
Definitely buy it if you plan on playing it with someone.

If you like strategic card and deck-building games like Slay The Spire and Hearthstone adventures (like the Dalaran heist, which was a personal favorite of mine) Then this game will probably entertain you for a while.
It has a fascinating combat system based on floors on a train and spaces available on it. you start with 2 classes, each with a set of specific class cards, and as you play you unlock more classes, and more cards to appear when you play these classes.
Between battles you get to upgrade and alter some cards.
The only shortcoming in my opinion is that overall, it seems like the amount of cards in the game for each class are too little, and with very similar card texts. For example, One card gets spikes when you heal it, another gets damage and health, but overall they are pretty similar: you should heal this card to buff it up over the course of the battle. Same goes to hero upgrades, which you can only choose one of two, they generally fall into what feels like a more "dps" buff and a more "tank" buff.
The combination of little card text variation and few cards (there are not that many unlockable cards, either) make me worry that this game's replayability may suffer.
There's also a multiplayer battle which gives me anxiety (good thing), however doesn't seem like it affects your progress towards unlocking cards and classes.
Overall, though, I highly recommend.

its fun and satisfying to run around and shoot monsters, reccomended.
crashed a few times on multiplayer but i believe it will get fixed.

Blender is a great 3d software, the main feature is the community and it being free.
However, don't download it from steam as it can cause some problems, download it from the website.
Oh, and make sure you download blender 2.8 and not 2.79 to enjoy all the new features. by the time anyone reads this, Blender 2.8 should be the main version.
