First of all, I know it's a VERY arcade racing game, but even so, I enjoyed every minute of it, it took me back to the NFSU days.

Although the game is in Early Access, it has a lot of content to keep you entertained for at least 12 hours, which speaks very well of the time-price ratio you can get. There's a good variety of vehicles, a decent amount of customization options for them, a basic but serviceable decal system, enough unlockables to keep you entertained, plenty of highway miles to drive, lots of characters to chat with, and a story that despite being a bit cliché and cheesy, continues the previous lore of the franchise.

I highly recommend it.

At the moment I have 214/216 opponents beaten (with approximately 250 races done, some defeats and draws), I'm only missing Impatient Princess (total of 2000 km driven) and Highway Gambler (77,777.77 CP earned) which I honestly don't think I'll get because it's very hard to grind those numbers. But I'll be back for when it comes out of Early Access.
