this game was exactly what i've been looking for for a very long time. it's a text-based RPG with a fascinating world inside of it. you play as a roadwarden, essentially the region's lawman, investigator, mediator, and messenger. you're tasked with finding out what happened to your predecessor, who went missing. the story is full of compelling characters, an interesting history, and a plethora of ways for you to sculpt the region how you see fit. being able to bring safety to the roads and peace to the region was a lot more rewarding because i actually found the characters interesting and cared about their prospects. 10/10 - great value at full price, a must-buy if on sale
