So, I played this once during the beta and didn't touch it again since it felt awful and the optimization was terrible. Fast forward now and I'm having an absolute blast. The world feels so much better with NPC's and optimization wise feels a lot better but not perfect.

What I like so far:
NPC's
Integration that fits lore wise with newer and older players experiencing the new content.
Return of Fallout 3 dialog system
High quality voice acting with charming new characters.
Not sure if this is new but the background music was very fitting and atmospheric to the gameplay.
Perk system is fairly straight forward and allows an assortment of builds.
Dog

What I don't like:
Melee feels a little odd but playable
One npc wouldn't talk to me (optional dialog)
Vats feels odd since it's real time and I feel it's better to play without it
Got kicked out the server once after 3 hours of gameplay
Bethesda bugs ie; npc not looking at you when talking, rain/objects clipping through environments, etc
Random FPS drops at certain areas that would fix itself soon after
Bessie is super loud

Overall, I like it but I encourage others to try it first or at least watch new gameplay before making the assumption that it's just as bad as it was 2 years ago.
