Honestly, I don't think I have been disapointed in a game as much as I was this one. I personally like to go into games knowing very little about them. I chose not to read up on anything about firewatch and just play it. I thought that the story was going to be a man trying to desperatly escape a serious forest fire with only a mysterious woman on a walkie talkie guiding him along his way. Instead it was a boring walkathon where you learn a little bit about this young ladies life as well as your own. I was waiting for the story to pick up right until the moment the credits rolled. To the games credit it was VERY pretty. The graphics were some of the prettiest I've seen in a game so far! It just wasn't enough to justify what I paid for (even the discounted price I bought it for). I tried hard to refund it but unfortunatly I spent some time on the menu screen just playing with my cat so my play time was extended. I honestly do not recommend this game.

tl:dr-Game was pretty but the story and gameplay itself were extremely lacking.
