Welcome to Steam, Neon Rider!
Don't let the negative reviews fool you! Even if some mention there's an achievement "finish game in less that 7 minutes", it only means that your time from every track in total should be less than 7 minutes to get the achievement. No need to clean progress and reset the game. The game is not that short! It took me over 2 hours to master some tracks and reduce my time on them. Also, the price is resonable and I bought because by this I support Flash Player legacy and its arrival to Steam. Those web games always were that short, it's all about the concept of coffee break game etc. Also think about kinder - we all used to play those flash web games as childs. Back then, replaying one and the same level gave lots of fun! The game is not that easy for kids in comparison with adult us. So I spend 2.4h in this game to make 100%. Keep in mind that most PS1 games were around 4-hours-long or even shorter if you knew what to do. That's the case for us replaying Neon Rider nowadays. It seems short, but just as those PS1 games back then - it gave fun for much longer. That's totally fair release. Armor Games - get us more of your classics!

In this game, a player has much greater impact on characters, events and world than in Cyberpunk. Also has more romance options than Cyberpunk (if male: CP - 1+1, AP - 4). It's a game somewhat close to Witcher 3 but smaller scale and different setting. Great game, real gem from over a decade ago worth playing nowadays as refreshing breeze. Definitely recommended and thanks to those who got it back on Steam after it had disappeared.

What an amazing game it was! Recently I was looking for a XCOM-like experience but it turned out that I found a game much better and more immersive despite being shorter.

What surprised me the most was language layer. Characters speak really as they were machines. There's no simple "yes" answer but more mechanical ones like "returned: truth". They also have different ways of speaking. Lector Dogmatis Videx almost everytime he speaks, quotes holy works, Captrix is all about "prey and hunt" when it comes to locating bosses and Scaevola wants to learn as much as possible from xeno-tech. This truly allows the player to immerse him into the world of WH40K and mores of Adeptus Mechanicus.

Of many strong points this game has, sountrack is definitely worth mentioning. Believe me, this game has awesome soundtrack. For those faithless, check tracks "Overlord", "Children of the Omnissiah" and "Noosphere". The OST is interesting and after finishing the game I still want to listen my fav tracks over and over again because it didn't let me get bored while playing.

Mechanicus looks and plays wonderfully. Gameplay is smooth and bugless, graphics are decent, perfectly fitting the world of WH40K. When it comes to things like UI... it's just a joy to play, nothing to fault here.

The game offers vast variety of customisations for our party. There are 6 skills trees of different purpose. What's great is the fact that Tech-Priests can learn abilities from different trees which gives the player real freedom of creating their own desired Tech-Priest. Skill trees also have their unique armour sets so we can even change the look.

Story-telling element is well-written, the game has few endings and while playing we really learn about Silva Tenebris. Combined with what I said about language it makes the game a rich gaming experience.

To sum up, Warhammer 40K : Mechanicus is great, immersive game with vast possibilities when it comes to combat, player is given his choice to define the fate of planet Silva Tenebris and player's attitude to xenos technology. I believe this is an example of 10 out of 10 game that I can with a clear conscience recommend to anyone looking for a tactical squad-based game. However this game seemed quite easy on hard difficulty, so I'd recommend starting on insane.

When I heard about Vampyr for the first time back in 2016 I was really excited about its concept. However once it was released, I postponed playing it as gameplay looked weird. Here I'm again, it's 2021 and I've just finished the Vampyr.

First impression of the game (around 2-3 hours) is quite good to be honest. We see promised dark London but... we quickly realise there are not many things to do. Game's world seems to be "empty" and closed for the player. When trying to do some kind of "free exploration" we find locked doors that require to go 3-times-longer way around the city just to unlock them and enemies. Lots of enemies. The player barely is done with one group, there's another waiting behind the corner. Fighting all of them isn't really rewarding - just some trash loot. Killing enemies gives almost no XP. They are meant just to be an obstacle on your way. Seeing few obstacles is fine, seeing them every 5 minutes is frustrating.

Although the story is acceptable, it's not rewarding enough for all the struggle. I feel sorry for people who did all the writing in notes and letters describing game's world. They did an amazing job that was totally wasted when it comes to making the game live, other aspects of game's world etc. Notes were the only thing I really enjoyed. Talking with non-main-story-related NPCs usually come down to "hey I'm Reid, what's up? how's your life in London?" or doing bring / find quests. Interactions with them seem shallow and NPCs behaviours are badly designed. Seriously, you made a young woman shouting for woman's rights in the middle of the night on the rainy street of London with nobody listening? I'm not buying it.

Some may give the game a positive review because they feel story was good enough. However, it is a game, not a book or movie - it's a game and you should enjoy playing it while the gameplay is the weakest point of this production. Clunky camera work, badly designed fights, way too many bosses for such a short game, difficulty of looking for a way to get somewhere you want and ending up checking it on YouTube because of stupid design of locations are only a few things to mention. They even copy-pasted one of the bosses just to put him in different location in which he wasn't working because he was designed only for its original purpose location and all you had to do was to run around a pillar. Perfect example of total laziness.

Visuals don't really give you the feeling that the game was made in 2018. It's more like 2013. Less important models are just ugly. They look like they were unrendered but no, they're just ugly, made in rush or whatever. They look bad. City is mostly covered in fogs so don't expect any stunning visual sights. When it comes to OST... the music is just some plucking in the background that you don't pay much attention to. I can't rememeber even one splendid track. The music is very medicore.

Stupid mechanics like losing your bullets and usable gear after death make the game even worse. Let's suppose you've spent 6 bullets and 2 syringes during bossfight but you failed. You're respawned before the entrance to the boss but your bullets and syringes are lost. Enjoy walking away and looking for a place to resupply them. Do this everytime you fail. Stupid, don't you think? There's no fast travel in this game. However if you die to a group of enemies, those who you've managed to kill will be respawned. Your gear will be not. The game has "respawning camps of enemies" issue. It does respawn them all around the city as often as it can. You went inside and went outside? Oh! the group you've just killed is standing in front of the house unharmed. Sleeping resurects every possible enemy except for bosses which makes your struggle of getting from one place to another even more painful.

This game surprised me with the worst romance I've ever seen in video games. There's no need of telling details on it as there was totally no need for Reid to fell love towards certain female character. Really, they didn't even spent much time together. I refused to say "I love you" yet the game pushed me to this ending.

Vampyr is my first game made by DONTNOD Entertainment and the last one. I'd advise against buying it even on huge sales. Putting 30-40h into game like that is an absolute waste of your time, my fellow gamers. However those who seek frustration and running simulator with few choices are welcomed...

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR GOOD VAMPIRE EXPERIENCE, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.

--- Review after finishing the game for the 1st time ---

"A Little Lily Princess" is absolutely wonderful game. While having an amazing art style and pretty good soundtrack, the thing I loved the most in the game was how it allows player to feel like he's having a real friend who cares about him without considering his wealthiness first (could depend on route, I'm talking about Ermengarde).

Another great addition is the fact that the game is literary adaptation itself ("A Little Princess" by Frances Hodgson Burnett) it has some other literary pieces mentioned. Main character, Sara, is fond of literature so we can see her reading "Poèmes antiques" by Leconte de Lisle or "The French Revolution: A History" by Thomas Carlyle. As the player can easily fall in love with Sara it actually can be encouraging to read mentioned books (me being an example, currently reading reading de Lisle).

This moving story surely will deliver a player a lot of innocent warmth to his heart (depending on what events you choose). I definitely recommend this game because I've not felt mentioned emotions for such a long time. Do yourself a favour and get to know Sara Crewe, you won't regret it. Her kind soul will be a blessing to your desolated heart.

Scam advertised as Open-World game, being only Pseudo-Open.
With lots of places being show in the game as open and accessible, it happens quickly to figure out that we're being lied and what the game world communicates is open, turns out to be closed in closer approach. All this happening with no explanation from the world-building. Such approach basically destroys so called immersion and what's even worse - the game somehow manages to block player from experiencing immersion. Diving deeply into this world is not possible, as we clearly see it all is fake so we don't believe in the world we try to take as the only real one. For further explanation of this topic and Cyberpunk's openess problem, refer to Ph.D. K. M. Maj, On the pseudo-open world and ludotopian dissonance: A curious case of Cyberpunk 2077, Journal of Gaming & Virtual Worlds Volume 14 Number 1, 2022.

I could have given a positive review, in fact it has been a positive one for a long time. But the longer I explored Cyberpunk 2077, the bigger was my need to change a review into negative one. I can't be fully recommending a game which marketing was built on a lie of open world. There's nothing like that, it's fake, it's unreal in the bad way. I'm not saying it's fake because it's not possible to see in real life things shown in the game, but in the very bottom of story-telling the game is not convincing because there's a great gap between what we are being told to that actually is in the world of the game.

Little to none endgame makes Cyberpunk 2077 even more closed for player's interference. What is truly the main aspect of endgame, is the biggest feeling of emptiness one has ever felt during whole gameplay. Basically, in case of such things Cyberpunk 2077 has nothing to offer.

But there are different things to take look at. Sountrack? It's great. Whole radio with different bands and music genres can be Cyberpunk 2077's top achievement. Characters? Likeable. The plot, mostly main quest? Despite lack of possibility to interfere, rocks quite hard in terms of cinematic experience. However, games are no movies and we deserve much better.

It'd be best to give infromational review, however when paying for a thing you either pay or don't pay so we stick to this rule. Then answer the question yourself: you're browsing for grand open-world game. You approach Cyberpunk widely advertised like one. But all what I said above confirms it is NOT an open world game but an imitation of one.

So if the cathegory of openess is crucial for you in gameplay, definitely skip Cyberpunk 2077 as its openess is somewhat close to Batman Arkham Origins - door are but a decoration.

But if you're keen on somewhat cinematic experience closed to player's interference, want to enjoy scripted story, nice music and well, characters? Then go for it, Cyberpunk is for you.

To sum up, the biggest problem with the game is the lack of identity. It tries to be open-world game but fails in multiple, really serious ways. If it weren't advertised as the City of Dreams where everythings is possible, it would be a fine narrative game. But it was, and that's the issue.
