Sonic Mania is better than forces I have to start from that.
The game is not too short or too long considering it has 3 campaigns for sonic,tails and knuckles the both first ones not really changing from each other while knuckles's cutscenes and level designs are different . The game offers the same gameplay as the old 2D sonic games from the 90's with tweaks like controls being more accurate [in a good way]. It uses the old zones which i don't have a problem with cause they're remixed in music and design. The new sonic's ability called drop dash is a handy tool for speedrunners.
