I was born into this world with one purpose...to control the almighty and powerful ThunderSquid. My father raised and trained me to fight this all powerful being so it could be destroyed.
Years of training had finally run its course. I was 16 and he told me it was time to confront the horrible beast. We rowed a boat off of the Gulf of Mexico about 200 miles when we saw the spiriling vortex of sparks.
I was not scared, for this was just what I have been trained to do. I thrusted the golden javelin, (which was rumored back in those times to stunn the Thunder Squid, if only for a moment), into the pit of the swirly mass!
The pit did not swell, nor did the creature from beneath the depths show any signs of anquish.
5 minutes passed...
10 minutes....
Just as we were about to give up hope a shadow appeared slowly moving away from the vortex.
"QUICK," my father exclaimed, "Pull UP the ANCHO-" A massive tentacle rose from the sea and wrapped its ugly suckers across my father's face.
All I can remember is the look in his eyes before he was pulled off of the boat and into the creature's bared fangs.
It was the look of revenge.
I shakily managed to get myself up off of the deck and grabbed hold of the Amulet of Freio, (which once belonged to the God of Derito), stared into it's eyes, and threw it into the creature's gaping mouth.
My father's hand reached out and grasped it as he was being dropped into the abyss...
Darkness dropped over the sky as the Thunder Squid roared in agony. This fight had been mine.
Never before had the Thunder Squid been defeated by a mere human.

3 Years later I started really getting into video games. As I was outside near the lake I heard a slight grumble from beneath the surface of the water. I leaned slowly toward the bubbles and was shocked to see none other than the mutated freshwater version of that cruel beast which had so hastily taken my father from me.
I was prepared...I snatched the specimen out from the water, (was only the size of my hand), and stared into it's eyes. For that is the way it must be done.
Something was different. As I stared into this creature's eyes something inside reminded me of my father. I let it drop back into the water.
It has been 2 years since that day.
Every time I have been subdued by the creatures of the water my Thunder Squid comes to assist me. This is the tale of how I became Kc Lord of the ThunderSquid.
