Ah... Monster Hunter. Is it worth it? Yes, hear me out.

The combat is not entirely hack and slash. Plan accordingly depending on your weapon type, every good hit you deal will make your satisfication gauge moist. Speaking of weapon type. There are bunch of weapon typing you can try, 14 in total. Each has their own playstyle, choose your inanimate partner!

Story is, well... not that much honestly but it's better than nothing. Hell, you can say that MHW is the "first" one to have a proper story line, at a cost though. What cost you ask? You are stuck with this humanoid chattering box called the "Handler". Yeah, good luck with that.

Dealing with multiplayer with friends is pain when your connection isn't stable. A lot of disconnection may happen. This is my least concern anyway since I still had a blast with my friends despite the connection issue.

So, should you get it? Yes, absolutely yes. The upcoming Iceborne expansion is an HUGE EXPANSION after MHW's endgame. You know what that means. Buy the game now and enjoy every second of it until the expansion arrived.
