Best...(mmo)arpg...since...Diablo 2!!! Nuff said? ;)

As others have already stated, game has improved 1000% since beta/launch & after sinking over 1000hrs into it (suffering thru the insufferable Bitraider client before converting to Steam!) the wife & I are completely hooked & still going strong. It's definitely a top 3 in our all-time greats, just for sheer fun factor, replay value & filling that OCD need :). If you like iso arpgs & spandex at all, this is a must play. It's the game I stopped playing GW2 for (after sinking 1000+ hrs into that one in a year!), so I don't know how I can give it more praise than that...

The F2P model is one of the best out there, given you can experience *everything* in game without much more of a grind than someone else who spends mega-bucks say. Only thing you have to pay for are hero costumes, which are purely cosmetic & some convenience items, such as stash space or potions to accelerate XP or rare/special item find (which can be gotten in-game from questing anyway). You can also easily get enough 'eternity splinters' with a hero by the mid 40s (out of 60 levels) to buy another midrange hero (for 400 splinters) if you get bored of the one you're currently playing. Though the starter heroes (of which you can get 2-3 after the 1st pass of the game by level 25-30) offer a great selection anyway. We've now played 6 or so heroes to max level & 5-6 others to 50 & still going strong levelling 2 other new ones at the mo.

For ref, we have quite low end PCs & have made the game work reasonably well in spite of the older h/ware. Gazillion are also one of the most active developers in their community I've seen since, well...ever! They seem to actually listen & make changes where they make sense & are viable, unlike most other publishers/devs these days.

With almost 30 very diverse heroes to choose from & lots of endgame content, this is THE best D2 experience since, well, since D2! Even POE & TL2 didn't grab & hold us this strongly for various reasons. Just do it!
