For some reason i've been getting a lot of scam messages recently, so I thought I'd start this to document them for others to read. Feel free to use this as a block list for yourselves! They will be in categories that are in no particular order, since some scams are so similar to each other.

websites named "jesleague" and "ebaze" are phishing scams, plain and simple. however, there are always more ready to take their place. learn the warning signs; watch for company logos (such as FaceIt or VALVe) with the copyright logo removed, pop-ups being a part of the web page (not click and draggable), and/or incorrect spelling in either the URL or the page itself (valv. com or valv3. com instead of valve. com)

also, watch out for anyone trying to create a sense of urgency! things like "i accidentally reported your account," "you have a stolen item," etc. are phrases used to make you panic, so you will make poor decisions! take a deep breath, and keep focused.
