Fall of the Empire Extended Timeline Edition

Description
Sometimes an empire's fall is more interesting than it's rise.
This mod isn't just an anti-blobbing mod, it aims to simulate the rise and fall of empires and completely and entirely re-works civil wars and rebels.
E.T. version of my anti-blobbing mod Fall of the Empire.

Features
-Playable Rebels! you get an event letting you play as a new tag.
-Inflation rises 0.01 per province, meaning you can't expand indefinitely.
-Governing capacity increases unrest.
-Corruption mechanic overhaul. Corruption causes unrest, but reduces all power cost, increases estate loyalty, and also influence. This could help stabilize the empire.... or destroy it.
-tweaks to balance with unrest stability etc.
-Modifiers to simulate comeptency/incompetency of rulers.
-Rebels that occupy a province for long enough turn into a tag via event, which is a playable nation and you get the chance to switch over when the event fires.
-custom CB that causes occupied provinces to be annexed. CB is gained via the revolt event listed above.
-Auto-annex during civil war, causes civil wars to be fast and total. The requirements is that the occupied province is next to a province you already own, so there isn't bordergore.
-The great one approaches... every now and then, there is somebody of great skill in both politics diplomacy ruling and military, that can turn any backwater into a world superpower.... but that doesn't mean their empire will stay together afterwards.
-Leader traits are changed, bad traits like craven increase unrest.

An excellent mod but with the hre still not playable because of the electors.

Idk depends on the mods. If it was just ET, then it should be compatible with the save.

Hello, is this mode compatible with ongoing saves? Or shoul I start a new campaing?

Also, I noticed I lost the celestial empire reform as the chinese emperor. doing "clr_flag empire_of_china_dismantled" made the reform reappear.
I'm not familiar with EU4 modding but looking in the files I saw in /on_actions/00_on_actions.txt on line 1859 that this line "set_global_flag = empire_of_china_dismantled" probably shouldn't be there when doing the if statement, or did you mean to do "has_global_flag" instead? Removing this line seems to fix this issue.

My bad, just tested this starting at 155, and saw the Huns popping up at 164!

New nations should pop up still, it may take a little bit longer though than before.

In Extended Timeline it seems new nations don't pop up anymore. Is this because I enabled the mod mid-playthrough?

One thing is that it seems to revert flags and such to earlier versions of ET, something I noticed. Like Nabataea for example. Don't know if thats a bug or a feature, that is why I bring it up here. Same thing if playing with addons that add new reforms(which this mod doesn't touch), seems to want to "revert" things to an earlier state in that regard. Just thought I'd point it out.

Yeah and i'm probably going to update it again soon with some balancing changes around the inflation decay mechanic.

Best anti-blobbing mod I ever used, and something I consider a must for ET :)
