Description
Inspired by Dungeons and Dragons, this weapon spell replaces explosions with a holy divine light, similar to that of paladins.

“Does this spell affect gameplay?”
A very reasonable question, and I assure you it does not negatively impact gameplay. Although lasting slightly longer and being more opaque than default explosions, it does not distract or impede fights, as this spell has been tested in matches through mods.

“Does this spell affect performance?”
Another great question! However, this spell, as well as most spells, do not hurt your frames. This is simply a particle swap, changing out the default explosions with new ones. A spell like “Footprints” used to impact performance in the past, due to it introducing new particle entities each step, but an explosion spell does not.

“How would Valve add this into the game?”
That is entirely up to Valve’s prerogative, we workshoppers do not control how an item is implemented. It could be through unboxing, contract rewards, MVM missions, a free gift, who knows!
