Other things to note:
The easiest way to enter is to swim directly underneath the ship
Huge turning radius, pre-plan your course when going around
Try to keep a distance away from land to prevent it from hitting ground
To shoot further for the cannons, you would need to lob the shots. Practice!
While the cannon salvo is firing, shooting in third person may inflict self damage
